Buckland Hill Reservoir Remedial Works
Buckland Hill Reservoir Remedial Works
The Water Corporation Remedial Works Project was initiated after a site review at Buckland Hill Reservoir. The valves and associated pipework were in poor condition and required replacement. New inlet pipework and valves were installed along with a new control philosophy. This allowed for precise pressure and flow control of water into the reservoir.
The project was split into two stages for each dosing system. The scope of works includes the following:
- Speed control of the dosing pumps during initial de-gassing and startup phase.
- Pump control for a duty-standby system as per Water Corporation Standard logic.
- Duty Standby Fail-over Functionality for the dosing system.
