Koodaideri Substation Control Systems Engineering

The Koodaideri mine development is a greenfield project for Rio Tinto Iron Ore in the Eastern Pilbara. As part of the project, a 220/33 kV substation is to be constructed to supply power to the sites mining operations, airport and non-processing infrastructures.

ACE was responsible for configuring the ABB RTU560, local SCADA server, and Cisco CGS2520 ethernet switch. These equipment are to be installed within the substation. ACE commenced work on the project in March 2020, with SAT expected to be completed in March 2021.
