2021 SEL 751 & RTAC Training for Our Engineers

ACE is all about training the engineering team on a regular basis ensuring we are at the forefront on updated technology and systems to offer our clients 100% top service.

Our ACE engineers recently attended SEL 751 Protection Relay & RTAC PLC training in July at the SEL offices.  RTAC training involved IEC 61850 and DNP3 configurations with the SEL 751 and the RTAC.

Exmouth Research Aquarium Project Update. ACE engineer Matt completed the first phase of site commissioning of the PLC and SCADA systems at the Exmouth research aquarium facility. The photo shows the installed Citect SCADA systems in the control room and the aquarium coral holding tanks.

2020 Engineer of the Year and Young Engineer of the Year Finalist

On behalf of ACE, we are delighted to announce that Engineers Australia has selected Atir Ashfaque and Yu Zhao as finalists for the Young Professional Engineer of the Year Division 2020 and Professional Engineer of the Year Division 2020 respectively.

The Western Australia Division has only 8 finalists.   Atir and Yu are both actively supporting Water Corporation engineering efforts.   ACE are very proud of this remarkable achievement and we will reflect on their individual success to help drive ours.

The engineers named as finalists in these awards represent:

  • Outstanding examples of innovation and resourcefulness within the engineering profession
  • The highest technical, professional and community service standards in engineering
  • The broad nature and impacts of the profession through their significant contributions

The winners will be announced on 15 Sep 20.
