In July, ACE successfully attended and completed the TNSP SCADA Compliance Acceptance Test (SCAT) at Transgrid in Sydney, working closely with Transgrid’s OT engineers.
Our scope involved testing data point integrity and substation functionality through the Transgrid SCADA gateway using DNP3 protocol. Key focus areas included:
Redundancy testing for DNP3 communications
Verification of Sequence of Events and Event Buffers for all data types
Communication restoration and failover testing
The Transmission SCADA Integration was completed successfully, with all test objectives met. Transgrid expressed satisfaction, and the solar farm end users were equally pleased with the outcome.
